Roasted Broccoli & Cauliflower


Roasting vegetables brings out the delicious flavor without making them soggy.

Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower

  1. 1 head cauliflower
  2. 1 bunch broccoli
  3. 5 cloves garlic
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Cut stem and core from broccoli and cauliflower, to have bite size florets.
  3. Place broccoli in bowl with whole or chopped garlic, toss to coat with 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  4. Place on sheet pan
  5. Place cauliflower in same bowl with 1 Tablespoon olive oil, toss to coat with oil
  6. Place on sheet pan
  7. Sprinkle with salt
  8. Roast in oven for 20 - 25 minutes
  1. Like more seasoning? Add crushed red peppers, black pepper, thyme, basil, or whatever other flavor combination you like.
